You can have a repeat prescription without the need to attend for your next consultation. There is a charge for this service. Most people having repeat prescriptions will still need to be seen at least six-monthly and everybody needs to be seen at least yearly.

You may order repeat prescription through manage my health or by simply talking to one of our nurses by telephone.

You will need to provide the name of the pharmacy and to ensure it is sent to the correct pharmacy.

Repeat prescriptions are done by your own GP. Prescriptions are valid for three months so you are advised to request your repeat prescription at least a couple of weeks in advance before completely running out. Please give us 24 hours for repeat prescription requests to be actioned.

If you haven’t seen your doctor for 6 months, it is advisable to book an appointment to see your doctor before you run out of medicines. In case you are unable to see your doctor before running out of medicines, you may still order your prescription by telephone, however, your doctor would provide a “short-supply” prescription.
